Pappagallo Aperitivo e Pasta fresca

This pleasant little Italian restaurant has good, straightforward food including homemade pastas with a free selection of sauces and piadizza. The dishes go well with a glass of Italian wine that they serve. In the warm month you can sit outside and see how life goes by.

Botanik Bistro

This bistro is a perfect place for lunch, especially if you value quality, local products and people who have passion for food. The restaurant is located near the bus and train station. The dish of the day is 15zl and the quality/price ratio is just amazing.

Gastro Habitat Bistro

The menu of this bistro is divided into vegetarian and “classical” dishes, but what they have in common is the highest quality ingredients. The offered dishes change every season according to what’s currently available. The place also sells organic preserves like jams or chutneys.  Be warned – the food here is addictive.

Kraina smaku

Close to the Chrobrego Square lies a fine eatery, just perfect for breakfast and lunch. It has a broad menu of homely food ranging from egg-dishes to jump-up your day, to pancakes, soups and salads. Daily set lunch menu is a winner for many.

It’s a short walk from the Old Town but if you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot, search no more. This little oasis has all breakfast classics like omelettes, porridge, French toast, sandwiches and plenty of coffee.

Meno Male

This pizzeria is located outside of the center, but for a true fan of Neapolitan pizza it is worthwhile an effort to get there. The recipe is original, straight from the capital of Italian pizza.  The ambiance is rather charming.

Piekarnik Bistro

This bistro makes you look differently at … potatoes. Yes, potatoes. They specialize in dishes made from potatoes and their do it in the best possible way. The food is excellent, well-seasoned and prepared with lots of imagination. The desserts also deserve to be mentioned as well as the interior decoration. Overall, it’s a great place.

Bistro 43-300

Not centrally located and quite new, but already popular with the locals. It’s a simple but cozy place that serves traditional Sunday meals – soups and main dishes and additionally some street food, pasta and pizza. It also has beer garden in summer.

Niecodzienna Bistro Café

Niecodzienna is a specious and bright space that offers good value home style food and excellent soups. It’s located in Cygański Las and while there it’s worth to see what sort of dish of the day they serve on that day.

Their potato pancakes made this restaurant legendary. They are huge, traditional and tasty. The place is very casual, best in the summer when you can sit outside. The menu includes also other dishes such as soups or traditional main courses.
